Two shot at downtown Detroit hotel while filming music video

The Detroit Police Department is investigating a shooting early Friday that left two people injured while they reportedly were filming a music video at a downtown Detroit hotel.
The incident took place at about 12:50 a.m. in the parking lot of the Baymont by Wyndham Downtown Detroit on the 3200 block of East Jefferson. According to Detroit police, a suspect in a vehicle drove up, shot the two victims, then fled the scene.
According to WYXZ-TV, victims are believed to have been shooting a music video in the parking lot before the shooting took place.

The victims, a 22-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, were transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries, police said. The man is listed in critical condition and the woman is in stable condition, police said.
