Michigan reports 799 new COVID-19 cases; 21 new deaths
The State of Michigan reported an additional 799 positive cases of COVID-19 and 21 deaths on Saturday.
Of the 21 death’s reported Saturday, seven came from prior days during a vital records review.
The state total is 101,478 confirmed cases with 6,467 deaths, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

As of Friday, the state reported 76,151 recovered patients. The state defines recovered patients as those with a confirmed case and still alive 30 days after the onset of illness.
The health department also reported there are 10,437 probable cases and 266 probable deaths.
